Merlin Edge hosted a two-hour informative and entertaining leadership workshop June 11 led by Mark Tewksbury and Debbie Muir. These great Canadian Olympians created  
Great Traits Inc. to engage people to be leaders and champions in their own lives, and have been delivering workshops to major organizations internationally for the last two years.

Great Traits teaches the fundamentals of becoming a champion and achieving high performance. It is about applying the essential qualities of greatness to life and work, and
helping executives and employees become world class at anything they do.

What was the Leadership Workshop about?

In working with business leaders and individuals from around the world, as well as thousands of high-performance elite athletes, Mark and Debbie have discovered that the fundamentals
of achievement, leadership and legacy are timeless and universal. They showed the workshop participants how to apply these fundamentals in order to take themselves and their
organizations to higher levels of performance.

The workshop covered:

Understanding how maximizing your thinking leads to reaching your full potential;

• Understanding how maximizing your thinking leads to reaching your full potential;
• Developing greater awareness to be a better leader;
• Understanding the dynamics of high-performance teams; and
• Using the power of your example to inspire excellence.

Merlin Edge is developing innovative marketing and interactive solutions for Great Traits Inc. In the process, we’re learning from Mark and Debbie how to become an effective team of
leaders and achieve higher levels of professional and personal success.

Olympic swimming champion Mark Tewksbury is recognized for his record of excellence in sports, ethical leadership and active humanitarianism.
A celebrated communicator, Calgary-based Mark has touched millions of people around the world as a speaker, author and television host.

Debbie Muir is one of the Olympic movement’s most-winning coaches. Working with athletes, professionals and corporations around the world in her
partnership with Mark, Debbie shares her experience and talent in leading individuals and organizations to achieve their optimum performance.
