Community Investment
Our company and our people are encouraged to actively participate in giving back to the community. We are proud of our staff's involvement in a wide ranging list of activities both at a local, regional and national level. Included are one of Southern Alberta's premier children's camps, Camp Cadicasu; The National Aquatics Federation; Motivate Canada, which focuses on youth-driven development that helps young people meet life's challenges and reach their full potential; as well as many other volunteer positions in the Calgary area.
Merlin Edge owner and president, Laurie Watson, is a member of the Board of Trustees for the Canadian War Museum and Canadian Museum of Civilization. This Board is responsible for the fulfilment of the purposes and the management of the business, activities and affairs of the Corporation. In fulfilling its responsibility, the Board as a whole oversees the development and application of policies concerning corporate governance.
